Vineyard

Gregory Ranch is a 26-acre estate vineyard in the hills of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Planted in 2007, Gregory Ranch’s viticulture and biodynamic farming programs have been carefully managed to produce the best fruit possible.

Nestled in the foothills of the Pacific Coast Mountain Range, the vineyard is surrounded by oak and Douglas Fir trees.  Taking advantage of the natural topography, grapes are grown on 4 distinct exposures.  The largest block is Pinot Noir located in a south-facing bowl.  Chardonnay grows along a west-facing hill side leading to more Pinot Noir along the hilltop.  The final Pinot Noir block is located on the face of a steep east-facing slope that makes a beautiful sight as you drive onto the property.

Unique to Gregory Ranch is the abundance of wildlife you might see while walking around.  Elk, deer, black bear, and numerous duck species all find a home here.  With future plans to build a lake that will be stocked with fish, our biodynamic farming techniques become that much more important.

We are fortunate to have a partnership with Josh Bergström and the Bergström Wines.  Our fruit was first used in Bergström Wines 2010 vintage.  You can find our fruit in Bergström’s Gregory Ranch Pinot Noir, and their Sigrid Chardonnay.

We take great care in our farming so that you, your family, and friends can enjoy the best wines possible.
